Far too many children are suffering from a hidden epidemic of child abuse and neglect. According to national child abuse statistics, over 3 million reports of child abuse are made every year in the United States. In 2009 alone, approximately 3.3 million child abuse reports and allegations were made involving an estimated 6 million children. 

Despite these disturbing realities, these children—like all children—deserve the chance to live in safe, loving and permanent homes free of abuse and neglect. To help us turn this tide, consider volunteering your time as a Court Appointed Special Advocate.
