I have been told that, unlike dogs, cats do not stray very far. That may not be true, but when my daughter's cat disappeared for 9 days, we found her in the overgrown area just behind her house. She had obviously been hanging out there while we searched everywhere for her. We found her at night by hearing her meow. Hope you find him!
