UPDATE (6:44 p.m.)— Cookie the cat was found by a neighbor and returned home.

Cookie, a gray and black striped male cat, got out of his Carney home Friday morning.

The cat, whose owner Dave Lari posted on craigslist, was last seen at the intersection of Grove Road and Orbitan Road.

A photo of Cookie's sister, who looks similar is attached to this article. Unfortunately, having just gotten the cat, the Laris don't have a photo of Cookie.

"The cat used to live on Mitnick Court in Belmont and may have returned there," Lari wrote.

Anyone with information about the missing cat is asked to call Dave Lari

Cookie the cat is now home thanks to our wonderful neighbor down the street, and thank you Nick for posting the story.
