Crime: Sparks Woman Robbed in Parkville

Cleanleigh Avenue, 2500 block. At 2:14 p.m. June 4. A woman from Sparks was robbed of $300 at knifepoint. A man approached the victim on foot, armed with a knife, and took the cash before fleeing toward Perring Parkway. The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male with black, bushy hair between 15 and 20 years old, approximately five feet, six inches tall and weighing roughly 140 pounds.

Maple Hollow Court, unit block. Between 2 and 6 p.m. June 4. A safe containing cash, savings bonds, documents and prescription pills was stolen from a home. Entry was gained via an unlocked basement door and a locked bedroom door was forced open before the items were stolen.

E. Joppa Road, 1900 block. At 9:40 p.m. June 4. A man tried to rob a woman by stealing her purse, but was unable to get away with the bag. The victim was approached from behind and the suspect grabbed her purse, dragging her a short distance before getting into a dark-colored vehicle and fleeing toward Satyr Hill Road. The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, approximately six feet tall and 170 pounds; he was wearing a yellow reflective vest at the time the crime was committed.

E. Joppa Road, 2600 block. At 2:05 p.m. June 5. A man was robbed at gunpoint after he accepted a ride to his home from a nearby gas station. The victim got in to a vehicle, driven by an unknown white female, with an male acquaintance, but when they arrived at the house, the man aimed a gun at the victim and demanded money. The victim threw cash onto the ground, which was picked up by the suspect before he got back into the vehicle and fled northbound on Harding Avenue.

Police are looking for 23-year-old Patrick Kelly in connection with the incident.

Putty Hill Avenue, 3700 block. Between 12 a.m. and 6 p.m. June 5. A vacant house was broken into after a rear door and framing were forced open. No property appeared to be stolen.

Harford Road, 10600 block. Between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. June 6. A Playstation video game console, video games and DVDs were stolen from a home. Entry to the home was gained through a rear window and, after stealing the items, burglars left through the front door.

Daniels Avenue, 7800 block. Between 12 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. June 7. A home was burglarized when a sledgehammer located on the property was used to break a window. No entry to the home was made and nothing was stolen.

Wildberger Avenue, 2700 block. Between May 25 and 3 p.m. June 1. Two candlesticks, a goblet and several boxes containing miscellaneous kitchen items were stolen from an apartment. Entry to the apartment was not forced and police think a key may have been used to enter.
