Can't possibly be any more different than the Obama campaign from Hope and Change to Disappointment and Despair. Hype and Blame. Hoping to find pocket CHANGE in the sofa. From the "post racial" President to the most racialy divisive President. From "this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal ..." to "Romney killed a cancer victim".

How anyone can vote again for a fraud who hates America is baffling.

You want to talk about "outsourcing"? From the Outsourcer in Chief Obama “And I will invest $15 billion a year in renewable sources of energy to create five million new energy jobs over the next decade – jobs that pay well and can’t be outsourced; jobs building solar panels and wind turbines and a new electricity grid; jobs that will help us eliminate the oil we import from the Middle East in ten years and help save the planet in the bargain. That’s how America can lead again.” Swiss-Based Landis+Gyr Received Over $50 Million In Stimulus Contracts For Their Smart Grid Meters. Cathy Zoi, A Former Obama Energy Department Official, Held Over $250,000 Worth Of Stock In The Company As They Profited From Her Department’s Policies. Zoi Had Previously Served As An Executive Director At Landis+Gyr Before Joining The Obama Administration. …

Two Korean Manufacturers Of Electric Vehicle Batteries Were Given $300 Million To Build Plants In Michigan. Union Workers Are Now Claiming That Foreign Nationals Are Being Brought In To Fill Jobs That They Could Take. The Department Of Energy Has Admitted That 11 Of The 18 Contractors On Site Are Asian Firms."

"A recent lengthy report by Reuters confirms what many conservatives have long known: President Obama's promise to create millions of so-called "green jobs" has been a colossal and expensive failure.

A few highlights from the report:

Since 2009, the wind industry has lost 10,000 jobs, even as the energy capacity of wind farms has almost doubled. By contrast, the oil and gas industry have created 75,000 jobs since Mr. Obama took office.
"A $500 million job-training program has so far helped fewer than 20,000 people find work, far short of its goal." The program was so bad that "the Labor Department's inspector general recommended last fall that the agency should return the $327 million that remained unspent." They didn't. And now, the department "remains far short of its goal of placing 80,000 workers into green jobs by 2013."
According to the Labor Department's own figures, the push for so-called "green jobs" has been an abysmal failure. "By the end of 2011, some 16,092 participants had found new work in a "green" field, according to the Labor Department - roughly one-fifth of its target."

Hope and Change to Hype and Blame.

Joeblob - oil & gas are finite resources. Guaranteed to be a loser eventually. Gas might pollute a little less than oil, but there is more work to do to eliminate the flaming drinking water supply. Oil will continue to deplete the ozone layer, and before you know it you'll be able to by oceanfront lots in Frederick County. Get your head out of your "Akin-hole."

Tim, I never accused or said any particular person is a loser. So it is not a personal attack. As soon as I read "Joeblob" all civility was removed and i will respond in kind to such.
NG Is the way to go and is not any more dangerous than any other fuel source.
There is not one alternative to gasoline and diesel for transportation now or in the next 30 years. Not one. We will need to drill for oil until the sun stops shining since far more than gasoline and diesel are form oil. Lubricants and plastics and fertilizer etc will be needed for the next generations. NG is safe and has more energy than any alternative fuel today. Ethanol is more dangerous than gasoline. Has less energy, causes less MPG etc.
ALL internal combustion engines can burn NG with little modification. The fuel tank is the biggest expense in converting a gas car to NG.

There was never burning water out of faucets. Fracking deos not cause earthquakes and fracking takes place miles deep not where we draw our well water from.
If the enviros had their way we would have NO energy. All of it to them has problems. Coal, gasoline, NG, hydrogen can all be use responsibly and should. Obama's "all the above" plan is just that. ALL the energy from ABOVE the surface, nothing from below.

Your imagination is so limited. No, you don't put a windmill on your car, but maybe you drive an electric car charged up with power generated by wind - am I going too fast for you?

And yes, we will need petroleum for some time, but employing clean alternatives wherever we can (like powering the vehicles) will reduce our need for fossil fuels. Let me know if you need some pictures to better understand the philosophy.

Fisker is an American company. Unfortunately, thanks to the outsourcing of American manufacturing jobs during the last 20 years (not the last 3), we are not as capable in manufacturing as we used to be. The outsourcing works for now, and it will come back over time.

Let me remind you that GM is building a significant automotive electric motor manufacturing plant in White Marsh, and it takes quite a while to build from scratch and get it going. Foreign countries like Korea, China & Japan have a head start in battery technology since they build all of those electronic devices that we can't seem to live without. When the market demands it, American companies will jump in there, too.

Wow, it doesn't take much to get your FOXy juices flowing, eh?

And, just like Romney, she keeps a portion of it in offshore accounts. Her most recent reports say she has an unspecified amount (at least $1 million) “held independently by the spouse or independent child” in Coral Growth Investments, Ltd., in St. Peter Port, Guernsey. Guernsey, a tax haven, is a small island in the English Channel that early this year drew the ire of a British Labour-party leader for helping wealthy Brits dodge taxes. The California senator also has between $500,000 and $1 million in a fund called Cevian Capital II L.L.C. in Jersey, another of the Channel Islands. According to her latest forms, that holding generated between $15,000 and $50,000 in capital gains, interest, and dividends. Feinstein has another $1,000 to $15,000 in Mauritius, an island nation in the Indian Ocean off Madagascar that is an up-and-coming tax haven."

Honeygogal, Obama even outsources his campaign ads. He has an ad "Republican Women for Obama". Turns out one of those women is a long time Democrat activist heavily involved in the campaign. Lies Lies Lies are the basis of the Obama campaign.
"Via Drudge, the inevitable finish for an ad for a President whose track record on vetting and research has been all too vividly featured in our Obamateurism series. Earlier this week, Team Obama stepped up its War On Wimminses strategy with this ad, featuring women who identify as Republican but who intend to vote for Barack Obama in 2012. However, as the old Sesame Street song used to go, at least one of these women are not like the other:

Maria Ciano who is featured in the web video has been a registered Democrat since October 2006 according to voter registration records.

It’s an Obama world.
The Obama Campaign will sponsor an Islamic Jumah at the DNC in September. Obama’s DNC lists the assembly as an “official function.”
But, as , the Obama Campaign denied Catholic Cardinal request to lead prayer at the convention.

President Obama turned down a chance to have Timothy Cardinal Dolan deliver a prayer at the Democratic National Convention after Dolan told Democrats he would be “grateful” to deliver a blessing in Charlotte.

Dolan — considered the top Catholic official in the nation, as head of the Archdiocese of New York and president of the Conference of Catholic Bishops — tipped off Democrats a few weeks ago that he had agreed to deliver the prime-time benediction at the Republican convention in Tampa next week, Dolan’s spokesman Joseph Zwilling told The Post."

Who says Obama is not a Muslim? He said he was on ABC and NO ONE, NO ONE misspeaks their faith.

Do you think we have to have the President produce another birth certificate too? Maybe D. Trump could have it framed in gold and give it to President Obama after November 2012 elections? I know the Vatican has some to offer. Or the hands that desecrated SACRED GROUNDS (I know they didn't pay no taxes on what they STOLED during the Gold Rush. Yeah! and they talk of faith (Catholics, Muslims, they might as well have all inclusions(Protestants, Baptist, Lutheran, Judaism, Hindu, Buddhism on and on.........), as this is what represents the country. Let us add immigrants because this is what the majority of the people residing in the U.S. are? Maybe once or twice removed. They were just lucky because policy had the doors open to let their ancestors in and in turn, to be BORN in the U.S and to be a citizen in this country. How little we remember and so often we forget. The elections that are forthcoming are not for the select few (as some feel) and the Presidential candidate should have the capacity to serve ALL PEOPLE not just one group of people............... I don't think the repulbs have it in their candidate... as Mr. Joe stated NO ONE MISSPEAKS..... LET The Pre-Elections Roll.. and may the Best Candidate who SERVES ALL the PEOPLE And for the PEOPLE.... REMAIN doing just that.

Well Joe this is really interesting...Wasn't there a bit of unrest regarding the White House not welcoming Christian Prayer day, but welcoming an Islamic Prayer day? Was never sure about the truth of it. And now....Islamic Jumah, but no Cardinal Dolan prayer. (jumʿah, jumʿah [Credit: Antonio Melina/Agência Brasil] Friday of the Muslim week and the special noon service on Friday that all adult, male, free Muslims are obliged to attend. The jumʿah, which replaces the usual noon ritual prayer (ṣalāt aẓ-ẓuhr), must take place before a sizable number of Muslims (according to some legal scholars, 40) in one central mosque in each locality.)

Surely you must be mistaken. Any Christian prayer perhaps??? How very, very, surprising that would be. Not that one wants to put down the Islamic faith, mind you, Sadly, it is the message regarding so-called "infidels" that keeps ringing in my ear, however. Hope that is not a sign of bigotry on my part. If President Obama should win a second term, mmmm wonder what FORWARD really, really means? Wonder what "..when I win the second election, I will have more flexibility.." really, really means as put forth to the Russian politico to tell Mr. Putin...I don't know, I don't know, but the guy seemed very, very happy.. I don't feel like second guessing, that is for sure. Looking at the "flexibility" he has most recently taken and now mentions future flexibility..oh, oh, all I can cry is...red flag, red flag!!!

I stated that I did not know if it was true...unlike our friend Reid clinging to his ridiculous assault on Romney...Oh Lord, here we go. And by the way, what do you and your friends mean when you call Republicans "tin hatters?" I get in such a tizzy when I am not in the "know" with some of the cutsy little old name calling. Who was the precious that invented that one? And now that you add "loons" to your list, well I always tended to see you as an original thinker. Maybe I forgot, it has been a while since we have communicated very much...but the vernacular you are using is pretty much a recognizable brand of communication for certain political types.

Land Destroyer!!! Buck, where did these little darlings originate from, a 1984 George Orwell movie?? To one of my big concerns...how do we keep war from our shores. Been attempting to do so for a very long time. Hope we don't get short sighted while focusing on economics and make very sure that the darling little enemies from within and without don't leap any chance they get. Lots of talk about change, change, change...I want to hear ideas, ideas, ideas and not just any old ideas, workable ideas that can bring our people together, NOW!!!

I'm pretty sure that our Country has been infiltrated for many years by those that plan to attack us from within at some point....hundreds of thousands already here and still counting. The old protect our shores thought process has become antiquated at this point. If the world wide web were to be shut down our country would be brought to it's knees almost overnight, and then the attack would begin...
One of the reasons that I am a proponent of the Second Amendment.
There are those in very high places that make this type of prediction as well...
I used to call this type of thinking "conspiracy theory", but now that we have a Muslim President that doesn't seem to like America very much, the reality seems a little more clear to me. I am hopeful for a quick change to better our Country...
Cautiously optimistic though because I see more war stamped on Romney's cute big forehead...

I don't think so this time Sean...the country is weary and not necessarily looking for "cool"...but rather distinctive experience, dedication and know how. We do not need, nor are we looking for Mr. Cool, nor Mr. King of the Prom....we need a President to lead us, not necessarily make us smile and laugh at cute sidelines. We don't need a President to push his personality...but rather to push his ability to lead and get the job done. Save the the cutsy stuff for later. Perhaps you and a few others might like to call that extreme thinking...if you do, well you are grasping at straws, for sure. Obama's led us out of Iraq, he's all but finished leading us out of Afghanistan. He kept us OUT of Libya despite cries from warhawks in Congress, the European community who have been sucking off the teat of our country for decades militarily, and Libyans themselves.

Romney was such an epic 'leader' not only did he do one term in Massachusetts, he did so horrible the subsequent Republican candidate got steamrolled in 2006:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massachusetts_gubernatorial_election,_2006

I'm sorry Lorna, but outside of salvaging the Salt Lake Olympics, Mitt Romney's led nothing. He's nothing but a corporate business sycophant. All the money in the world couldn't buy him the nomination 4 years ago. He's won this nomination by default.

Again, I'm not suggesting the current President has been President of the generation, but to honestly suggest Romney would make this country better off then it is now, is quite simply in the eye of the beholder - and nothing remotely factually based.

I don't know of any other politician who waffles more then Romney has and does. Mitt Romney is the living, breathing representation of the shady politician, something our local Republican David Marks is nothing like.

"One of the left’s favorite attacks on the Republican Party is that it is the party of old white people, devoid of diversity and probably racist.

If you were watching MSNBC’s coverage of the Republican National Convention in Tampa on Tuesday night, you might believe those assertions, since missing from the coverage was nearly every ethnic minority that spoke during Tuesday’s festivities.

In lieu of airing speeches from former Democratic Rep. Artur Davis, a black American; Mia Love, a black candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives from Utah; and Texas senatorial hopeful Ted Cruz, a Latino American, MSNBC opted to show commentary anchored by Rachel Maddow from Rev. Al Sharpton, Ed Schultz, Chris Matthews, Chris Hayes and Steve Schmidt.

Throughout this convention, Matthews has accused the Republicans of playing dog-whistle racist politics while on scene in Tampa. It isn’t clear, however, if Matthews will hurl accusations of racism at Davis, Love or Cruz for speeches his network failed to broadcast."

Utah’s Mia Love Gets Enthusiastic Reception in Tampa.
"“The America I grew up knowing was centered in self-reliance and filled with the possibilities of living the American dream,” said Ms. Love, the mayor of Saratoga Springs, Utah.

She made apparent references to civil-rights icons Rosa Parks and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Our story has been told over 200 years, with small steps and giant leaps, from a woman on a bus to a man with a dream,” she said."

The GOP cannot allow these people in the party since they hate then so.

"FCC sent stimulus funds to London. No jobs created by data contract"
"The Federal Communications Commission paid out more than $1 million in federal stimulus funds to a London company through a contract that reported creating no jobs in the U.S. or overseas, procurement records show.

The vendor, SamKnows Ltd., won the stimulus-funded contract to help the FCC collect data on broadband speeds of various Internet service providers (ISPs).

The company said in a statement when it started work with the FCC that a separate company, SamKnows Inc., would “appoint US partners and create new jobs for American workers, both in the short term and in the long term.”

Although FCC officials said the project was worthwhile and helped spur investment in broadband, contract activity reports filed through the Recovery Act website show that it didn’t create any jobs.

Under a section asking how many jobs had been created, officials noted “zero” after the project was completed.

Though the contract was awarded in the spring of 2010, the flow of funds overseas from the stimulus program is getting a fresh look on the campaign trail."

MSNBC/NBC must keep up their support for their boss man.

" When popular Tea Party candidate Ted Cruz, the GOP nominee for Senate, took the stage, MSNBC cut away from the Republican National Convention and the Hispanic Republican from Texas’ speech.

MSNBC stayed on commercial through former Democratic Rep. Artur Davis’ speech, as well. Davis, who recently became a Republican, is black.

Then, when Puerto Rican Governor Luis Fortuno’s wife Luce’ Vela Fortuño took the stage minutes later, MSNBC hosts Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews opted to talk over the First Lady’s speech.

And Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval? Noticeably missing from MSNBC, too.

Coalition of Black Pastors Stand Against Obama's Position on Homosexual Marriage and say they Will Not Remain Silent While Obama and Homosexuals 'Hijack the Civil Rights Movement'.

These were not polled apparently. Nor these:
"Black Pastors Rally Against Obama Over Homosexual Marriage"
"President and founder, Rev. Williams Owens had this to say...

“The time has come for a broad-based assault against the powers that be that want to change our culture to one of men marrying men and women marrying women,” said Owens, in an interview Tuesday after the launch event at the National Press Club. “I am ashamed that the first black president chose this road, a disgraceful road.”

3,742 African-American pastors are reportedly involved in the effort.

“we are going to go nationwide with our agenda just like the president has gone to Hollywood.”"

If it's true and it may well be; although I'd think it were more like 5-10%; regardless it suggests one of two things; 1) blacks are racists or 2) they only do as told and have no ability to think for themselves. Either way; the idea that a demographic in it's entirety thinks exactly the same way doesn't exactly suggest that group has an ability to think in any intellectually comprehensive way. I wouldn't be so quick to crow about it.

There's no question wher my vote is going, but I truly don't understand how the Rethugs think they can win: they alienate Black voters with the way they implement Voter ID laws; Push against women (except for the women who put starting their own business at the top of the list); and they alienate Latinos with their immigration stance. Seriously, in the 21st century, how do you expect to win by pushing ALL of those groups away?

I do not disagree with the concept of ID being required to vote. But the sneaky way the Rethugs implemented this makes it clear they are trying to tip the scales in their favor. Most of the folks affected don't watch the news or haunt the Patch all day long, and they will be caught out on Election Day. That is not lost on the Rethugs. So if you want to FAIRLY implement the law, provide a longer phase-in and/or make the first election under the law a "warning" - you know like the speed cameras and other such new requirements. Else you are making a blatant move to suppress the vote.

The Rethugs are for small government - except if you get pregnant or want to avoid getting pregnant. And OBTW, they want to establish (and presumably maintain) a database of names, addresses and photos of those that want to exercise their right to vote. Consistency, eh?

Joe, as I am the one who started conversations with Buck about the 16th amendment it would be fair that I answered your question.

Buck has stated that he believes the 16th amendment was never properly ratified. Buck has stated he pays all taxes he owes. Buck has stated he files returns stating it is an unlawful federal income tax. Buck very carefully does not state he refuses to pay federal income tax, but reading between the lines is not hard.

Buck has also stated that he participates in Barter systems where you trade services and products which are intended to avoid income taxes.

Is Buck a tax cheat, most likely in my opinion.

How can the IRS explain this case they lost?
" IRS Loses A Big One Memphis Pilot Acquitted Of Tax Evasion
Charged With Filing "False" W-4s"

"On Friday, a Memphis federal jury acquitted FedEx pilot Vernice Kuglin of six counts of felony Tax Evasion and Willful Failure to File tax returns.

Ms. Kuglin's attorneys, Tax Honesty Movement barristers Larry Becraft and Robert G. Bernhoft, told reporters that Kuglin was indicted seven months ago and had refused to plead the case out for a lesser sentence. During her testimony Kuglin testified that since 1995, she had sent numerous letters to the IRS requesting that they inform her of what law required her to pay the Individual Income Tax. To this day, she has not received an answer.

At 1:30 Friday afternoon, the jury returned not guilty verdicts on all counts.

After the jury had been excused the U.S. Attorney reportedly demanded that the Judge order the defendant to file her forms, pay her taxes and obey the law. The Judge reportedly replied "Sir, I don't work for the IRS."

The case is: U.S. District Court, Western District of Tennessee (Memphis) # 03-CR-20111, USA v. Kuglin.

The news story below comes from the August 9th edition of the Memphis daily newspaper, The Commercial Appeal:"

Fifa - you are aware that most often barter involves exchange of service for service - for instance a plumber may exchange a bathroom replumb for landscaping assistance. Seldom is this about retail exchanges...as such those services are not taxable even if it involves non-barter hiring. So you base this allegation upon your "feelings" and "reading between the lines" and in this case...once again just making up stuff.

Joe, I have no respect at all for outright deceivers.

"Another listed star, Vernice Kuglin, was acquitted in her criminal trial for tax evasion in August 2003.[6] This means she was not found guilty of a willful intent to evade income taxes. (A conviction for tax evasion requires, among other things, proof by the government that the defendant engaged in one or more affirmative acts of misleading the government or of hiding income.) Kuglin's acquittal did not relieve her of liability for the taxes.[7] Kuglin entered a settlement with the government in 2004 in which she agreed to pay over $500,000 in taxes and penalties.[8] On April 30, 2007, the Memphis Daily News reported that Kuglin's Federal tax problems continued with the filing of a notice of Federal tax lien in the amount of $188,025. The Memphis newspaper also stated that Kuglin has "given up her fight against paying taxes, according to a Sept. 10, 2004, Commercial Appeal story."[9]"

I’m deeply honored to be in this forum and so grateful for CNBC for making the forum available so you can speak to American citizens just like myself. I’m a chief financial officer for a veterans service organization and that’s here in Washington. I’m also a mother, I’m a wife, I’m an American veteran, and I’m one of your middle-class Americans.

Quite frankly, I’m exhausted. Exhausted of defending you, defending your administration, defending the man for change I voted for, and deeply disappointed with where we are right now. I’ve been told that I voted for a man who said he was going to change things in a meaningful way for the middle class. I’m one of those people and I’m waiting, sir, I’m waiting. I don’t feel it yet. While I thought it wouldn’t be a great measure, I would feel it in some small measure. I have two children in private school, and the financial recession has taken an enormous toll on my family. My husband and I joked that we thought we were well beyond the hot dogs and beans era of our lives. And quite frankly, it’s starting to knock on our door and ring through that that might be where we’re headed.

And quite frankly, Mr. President, I need you to answer honestly, is this my new reality?"
