Gas Prices Cool Down As Summer Heats Up
Prices at the pump are down for nearly three straight months.
Gas prices continue falling nationwide ahead of the 4th of July holiday.
AAA reports that prices have reached lows not seen since the early part of January.
In the Baltimore metropolitan area, AAA reports the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded fell to $3.30 on Friday, representing a 3-cent drop from a week ago and a 25-cent decrease over last year.
That's great news for the 846,000 Marylanders expected to travel during the upcoming holiday—the most in the last decade, according to AAA.

The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded fuel was $3.32 a gallon on Friday—down 10 cents from a week ago and 19 cents cheaper than a year ago, according to the latest AAA survey.
