A Rosedale-area 7-Eleven store was robbed at gunpoint early Tuesday morning.
Two men entered the store, in the 6400 block of Golden Ring Road near the intersection with Kenwood Avenue, around 2 a.m. Jan. 15, according to a police report.
The men displayed a handgun and went behind the counter where they assaulted a store employee, the report states. They forced the employee at gunpoint to open the registers and stole money, then demanded that the victim take Newport cigarettes from a display and place them into a black trash bag.

This is totally shocking, two young black men w/masks and hoodies on committing a crime of this nature in this neighborhood. Its a shame that the stores employee was assaulted and didn't have a gun to blow away these two fine young upstanding POS while in the commission of their crime.
