The basketball postseason is about to begin for the boys and girls teams from Parkville, Overlea and Loch Raven high schools.

The schools won't, however, play one another—each is in a different Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association classification, based upon school population.

Boys and girls games both start this afternoon—here's a rundown of who's playing, and where:

• in Class 1A girls basketball, Overlea's 10th-seed Lady Falcons will take on seventh seed Havre de Grace in Harford County. The winner is set to battle No. 2 New Town on its home court in Owings Mills on Feb. 27
• in Class 1A boys basketball, the fourth-seed Overlea Falcons have earned a first round bye and will take on Havre de Grace at home on Feb. 28. The winner of the Overlea-Havre de Grace contest moves on to play the winner of a contest between No. 3 Bohemia Manor and No. 6 Sparrows Point.
• in Class 2A girls basketball, Loch Raven's 8th-seed Lady Raiders take on Dundalk at home. If they pull out a win, they'll have to travel to face No. 1 Randallstown on Feb. 27.
• in Class 2A boys basketball, the 10th-seed Loch Raven Raiders visit seventh-seed Lansdowne. The winner of that game will face Edmondson/Westside on Feb. 28.
• in Class 3A girls basketball, Parkville's 10th-seed Lady Knights visit seventh-seed Patterson. The winner will advance and play the winner of a contest between No. 2 Milford Mill and 15th-seed City on Feb. 27.
• in Class 3A boys basketball, the 11th-seed Parkville Knights will visit sixth-seed Digital Harbor. The winner will advance and play the winner of a contest between No. 3 City and 13th-seed North Harford on Feb. 28.
