Man Sentenced to 55 Years in Parkville High Student's Slaying

Clinton Bradley, 26, will serve 55 years in jail for the 2011 murder of Parkville High School student Brandon Jackson.

A man was sentenced to 55 years in prison for the murder of a senior student that rocked the Parkville High School community in February 2011.

Brandon Jackson, 18, was killed in the parking lot of a gas station on McClean Boulevard.

Clinton Bradley, 26, was sentenced in the shooting death Wednesday morning by Baltimore County Circuit Court Judge Ruth A. Jakubowski, according to a press release from the office of Baltimore County States Attorney Scott Shellenberger.

Bradley was arrested on Feb. 24, four days after the shooting, and charged with first-degree murder. Bradley shot Jackson in the head outside an Exxon gas station in the 3100 block of McClean Boulevard on Feb. 20.

At the time of the murder, Bradley was out on parole after being convicted of first-degree murder and the use of a handgun in the commission of a felony in Baltimore City in 2004. He served 10 years of a 20 year sentence and was released from prison on June 28, 2010.

Jackson's murder stunned friends and family. At the time, his grandmother, Gloria Jackson said that Jackson "had dreams of one day owning a business after graduating from high school."

On a Facebook memorial page, students and friends wrote condolences.

At the time a Facebook user identified as Imani Wilson, wrote:

"Everyone is saying so many nice things, and I gotta hand it to you its [sic] not just one type of social group. You basically have all of Parkville and then some backing you up and showing you love. You get all this love b/c clearly that’s the type of love you put out … like they say there will never be another Brandon 'Dolo' Jackson, that’s for sure."

Once again, not nearly enough time. This P.O.S. is already a convicted felon. Life without parole would've been more appropriate. I would say give him the death penalty but Owe'Malley wants to abolish that.

There should just be a mass gassing to rid this country of all the murderers leaching off the system. Our legal system gives more rights to the perp than the victim.
