Man Who Killed Pregnant Girlfriend, Her Daughter To Be Sentenced Wednesday

Brian Eggleston pleaded guilty to the murders in November 2012.

A man who pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree murder in the June 2011 shooting deaths of his girlfriend and her 4-year-old daughter will be sentenced Wednesday.

Brian Eggleston, a Parkville resident, admitted to the murders on Nov. 26, 2012, according to a news release from Baltimore County's state's attorney's office. He will be sentenced at 9:30 a.m. in Circuit County.

Police discovered the bodies of Alicia Avery, 25, and her daughter Darry'el Parker on June 26, 2011 in a room at Welcome Inn, 8729 Loch Bend Drive. Both suffered gun shot wounds to the head.

Police said they were killed on June 24, 2011.

Charging documents showed that the couple had a history of arguments.

Baltimore City Police had placed Avery at the Welcome Inn because she was in the witness protection program in connection with an unrelated case.
