Parkville/Carney Crime: Burglaries At Apartment Complexes

The following information was obtained from the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information supplied does not indicate a conviction.

 

Parkville

Arbor Station Way, 8400 block. Between 5:25 a.m. and 5:10 p.m. Jan. 3. A HP laptop, microwave, pots, pans, shoes, coats, hats and food were stolen from an apartment.

Harford Road, 8100 block. Between 5:30 p.m. Jan. 1 and 1:30 a.m. Jan. 2. A television, XBox 360, RCA stereo, clothes hamper, blanket, toaster, laptop, military saber sword, leather coat and two football jerseys were stolen from an apartment. Burglars pried open the front door to get inside.

Highpoint Road, 7800 block. Between Dec. 2 and Dec. 31. A weed wacker, a backpack blower and a chain saw were stolen from a shed.

Queen Anne Drive, 7600 block. Between Dec. 22 and Dec. 29. Two televisions, a stereo and speakers were stolen from a home while the homeowners were away. Burglars got inside by breaking glass on two rear doors.

Carney

Lowells Glen Road, 2200 block. Between 6:20 and 6:26 p.m. Jan. 1. A woman told police that she was robbed of her purse when someone pulled it off her arm from behind, causing her to fall. The victim, who is hard of hearing, told police she neither saw nor heard the robber.

Oak Summit Avenue, 9600 block. Between 12 a.m. and 12 p.m. Jan. 1. Lawn equipment was stolen from a cart parked to the side of a home.

Rockingham Court, unit block. Between 12 p.m. Nov. 22 and 3 p.m. Dec. 30. Storage totes containing four bed sets, blankets and comforters, a silver/black crock pot, fine china, a blender and four suitcases filled with clothes and books were stolen from a storage locker inside an apartment complex.
