Parkville/Carney Crime: Burglaries On Richmond, Ellis

Kings Ridge Road, 2800 block. Between 7 p.m. Dec. 12 and 7 a.m. Dec. 13. Burglars broke into a laundry room inside an apartment complex by breaking the glass in a door. Nothing was stolen, but they attempted to get into a washing machine and a storage unit.
Marjeff Place, 4000 block. Between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Dec. 12. A burglar tried to break into an apartment by prying open the front door but was unable to get inside.
Taylor Avenue 2100 block. Between 12 and 2:45 p.m. Dec. 12. Pain medication and cigarettes were stolen from an apartment. Burglars pried open the front door to get inside.
Landrum Court, unit block. Between 4 a.m. and 11:15 p.m. Dec. 7. Cash and a wooden humidor were stolen from an apartment.
Richmond Avenue, 8600 block. Between 7:15 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Dec. 5. Gloves and jewelry, valued at a total of $785, were stolen from a home. Burglars pried open a rear door to get inside and ransacked a bedroom, stealing the above-listed items. The police report notes the similarity between this burglary and a burglary on nearby Ellis Avenue.
Ellis Avenue, 2400 block. Between 7:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Dec. 5. A box of checks and an unknown amount of jewelry were stolen from a home during a burglary. Burglars pried open a rear door to get inside and ransacked a bedroom, stealing the above-listed items.
