Parkville/Carney Crime: Gun, Knife Stolen From Carney Home

Carney
Carriage Walk Court, unit block. Between Feb. 8 and 7 p.m. Feb. 24. Six pairs of earrings, loose change totaling $180, prescription painkillers, a bowie knife engraved with the name "Joe Lapira" and an unknown model black five-shot revolver were stolen from a home. There were no signs of forced entry.
Harford Road at I-695. At 11 p.m. Feb. 21. Two men assaulted a man and his girlfriend as they walked near Interstate-695. The suspects made a comment to the victim’s girlfriend, then punched the victim. The victim fought back and was assaulted by the second man.
Parkville
Garnet Road, 2900 block. Between 3 p.m. Feb. 15 and 12 p.m. Feb. 23. A DeWalt hammer drill, a Craftsman hammer and another drill were stolen from a tool shed.
Glen Arm
Ponderosa Road, 12000 block. At 10:10 a.m. Feb. 27. A burglar broke into a home but was confronted by the homeowner. A struggle ensued and the suspect ran out of the home, got into a car and sped away.
Police describe the suspect as a black male between 45 and 50 years old, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and 170 pounds with a medium build and dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie and pants with a Baltimore Ravens cap.
