Parkville/Carney Crime: Holiday Decorations Stolen From Storage

The following information was obtained from the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information supplied does not indicate a conviction.

 

Parkville

Townridge Court, unit block. Between 8 a.m. Dec. 16 and 8 a.m. Dec. 17. Various collectables and holiday decorations were stolen from a storage unit inside an apartment complex. Burglars got inside by unscrewing a latch on the door.

Taylor Avenue, 2300 block. At 10:20 a.m. Dec. 15. A motorized glass buffer (used to clean drinking glasses) was stolen from the rear porch of a home. A witness to the crime identified the burglar to police, but no arrest has been made.

Carney

Waltham Woods Road, 8900 block. Between 2 p.m. Dec. 13 and 2 a.m. Dec. 14. A window screen was destroyed during an attempted burglary but no entry was made into the apartment. Burglars also opened a screen door part way.

Seven Courts

Bellfalls Way, unit block. Between 10 p.m. Dec. 15 and 9 a.m. Dec. 16. A Garmin GPS system was the only item stolen in a series of petty thefts from automobiles. Three vehicles on the unit block of Bellfalls way were broken into.

Stone Falls Court, unit block. Between 9:30 p.m. Dec. 15 and 2 p.m. Dec. 16. Two GPS systems, clothing and coins were stolen out of several vehicles that were broken into in the unit block of Stone Falls Court.
