Parkville/Carney Crime: Robber Strikes Baskin Robbins Store

The following information was obtained from the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information supplied does not indicate a conviction.

 

Carney

2nd Avenue, 3000 block. Between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Nov. 28. A UPS package, containing stereo equipment, was stolen from the porch of a home.

E. Joppa Road, 2300 block. At 7:19 p.m. Nov. 28. A Baskin Robbins store was robbed by an apparently unarmed man. The robber walked into the store, demanded cash, received it and then left.

Based on surveillance video, police are describing the robber as a white male in his late 20's approximately 5'7" tall with dark, curly hair and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black knit cap, black t-shirt over a long-sleeved gray shirt, and jeans.

Based on investigative interviews, police believe the robber may have fled the store in a red Toyota Camry.

E. Joppa Road, 2000 block. At 3:07 a.m. Nov. 28. A Verizon Wireless store was burglarized and over $7,500 dollars in cell phones were stolen. According to a police report, burglars got inside using a key and disabled the alarm during the burglary. The same store was burglarized on Nov. 13. Another Verizon Wireless store in the Golden Ring area was recently burglarized in similar fashion.

Harwood Road, 2400 block. Between 11 a.m. Nov. 15 and 9 a.m. Nov. 18. $18,000 in cash was stolen from a briefcase on a sofa inside a home while the victim was away.

Parkville

Harford Road, 8300 block. Between 2:30 and 8:30 p.m. Nov. 19. A green 1989 Kawasaki dirt bike was stolen from Oakleigh Towing. The bike was later recovered near the corner of Emerald and Harford Roads.

Seven Courts

Hickoryhurst Drive, 9800 block. Between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Nov. 27. A diamond ring, four winter vests, cash and a coin collection were stolen from a home. The basement door was forced open during the burglary and the home was ransacked.

Hickoryhurst Drive, 9500 block. At 9 p.m. Nov. 21. An XBox, XBox games and a black and gray bookbag were stolen from a home. The victim came home and found a rear sliding door open.

Give me a break. Somebody robbed a Baskin Robbins and did not steal any ice cream to go with the dough ?
