Dine Out for Valentine's Day

Looking to take your someone special somewhere special? We've got some ideas for you.

There's one week left until Valentine's Day, and no doubt you're thinking of taking that special someone out for a fancy dinner.

We've got a few ideas to help you out in and around our area.

For starters, on Harford Road has a deal going with on Valentine's Day. If you buy two entrees at the restaurant you'll score two tickets to the comedy club that evening and champagne with dinner for an extra $14.

Comedian Chris Coccia is headlining the Valentine's Day show with Corey Hunter and Jared Bilski. The show starts at 8:30 p.m. and you can make reservations at 410-665-8600.

Over at in North Plaza you can take your honey out without breaking the bank. For $29.99 per couple you get two entrees, each accompanied by a cup of soup or a salad, and a dessert to split. Add on an extra $15 and you'll get a bottle of wine. Entrees on the special Valentine's Day menu include stuffed rockfish, chicken Chesapeake and jumbo lump crabcakes. The deal runs Feb. 11-14.

, at the corner of Oakleigh Road and Taylor Avenue, wants you to come in and have a "special lunch or dinner with that special someone in your life!" according to the restaurant website.

The restaurant website isn't showing a special Valentine's Day menu, but I guarantee they'll have their famous crabcakes, which have been featured on Food Network, 98Rock and in the Baltimore Citypaper.

Just down Harford Road in Hamilton, you can catch 'Talian Tuesdays at Clementine—a weekly special that gives you the chance to pick a pasta, a sauce and a protein (including veggie non-meatballs) for just $10.

Nearby, the Chameleon Cafe offers a $33 three-course prix fixe menu every Tuesday through Thursday.

If none of that strikes your fancy, you can check out Towson Patch for some ideas on the other side of Loch Raven Boulevard.
