UPDATE: Police Identify Pedestrian Killed In Loch Raven Crash

UPDATE (2:16 p.m.) A pedestrian killed in a car accident during the Tuesday morning commute has been identified by police.
Beulah Mills, 63, of the 1400 block of East Eager Street in Baltimore was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, according to an email from Baltimore County Police Department spokeswoman Cpl. Cathleen Batton.
The crash remains under investigation, Batton wrote.

The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 6800 block of Loch Raven Boulevard near Taylor Avenue around 9:42 a.m., according to police spokeswoman Julia Hardgrove.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, she said.
No further information is available as investigators remain on the scene of the accident, according to Hardgrove.

I go that way to work every day, I know the intersection well. It's a busy one and often times, especially that time of day, people are flying through that intersection despite the crosswalks and such. My condolences to Ms. Mills' family and friends for their untimely loss.

The deceased was probably on her way to visit her relative in a nearby nursing home. Her relative is across the hall from my mother. The staff was very upset because they say she visited her sister every day. Rest in Peace.
