Students from the Maryland School for the Blind participated in the First Lego League robotics State Championship over the weekend, and though they remain unsure as to whether they placed in the competition the team still brought home a trophy.

The Dot5U Dogs were awarded a first-place trophy in the teamwork category, according to an email from team coach Adam Stone.

"It was a long, but fun day. Thank you to all who came out to support us, the students really appreciated it," Stone wrote in the email.
