Police Arrest Alleged Drug Dealer At Parkville Home
The arrest came after police raided the man's home and found a large quantity of narcotics.

A Parkville man was charged with drug possession and distribution after police raided his home Tuesday morning.
Brendan Bevans, 36, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute as well as a paraphernalia charge.
Baltimore County Police department, officers executed a search warrant on Bevans' home in the 8500 block of Morven Road around 11:24 a.m. Tuesday, according to Det. Cathy Batton of the.
Inside, Batton said, police located enough oxycontin to charge Bevans with intent to distribute.
"Police recovered additional suspected [controlled dangerous substances] out of the home but are waiting for analysis before they are able to press any further charges," Batton said.
Bevans was briefly held at the Baltimore County Detention Center but has since been released on $100,000 bond.

Yes I agree. 100,000. bail. I guess someone got him out on 1 percent, that's the problem it's all about the bucks.... he should stay in jail.....

I agree j.j.... They need to be out here making some real arrests. This was not that serious at all. Go arrest someone child abusers or something.

He's a good guy. Painkillers are everywhere. It's amazing how people rush to judgement. Teach your kids right from wrong and you won't have to worry about what other people do.

To say an arrest for painkillers is a joke...or painkillers are everywhere...does NOT make what they are doing "ok", i.e. distributing. Yes, painkillers ARE everywhere, hence the epidemic that is out of control. If you have ever lost a loved one due to an oxycontin/oxycodone overdose, or have a close family member in jail for multiple charges of burgulary, theft, etc. because they get to that point of desperation to feed their addiction to these pills...then you'd realize the problem it has become in all communities. I'm NO way saying he should be "sent to the chair" or should get life...that's ridiculously extreme, but it has to be dealt with from the little guy on the street to the doctors that are writting all these scripts to every joe blow that says their back hurts.
He may very well be "a good guy"....then distributing would make him "a good guy" making bad decisions. Teaching your kids right from wrong is a pretty ignorant statement....would that then make this guys parents, and every other parent of an addict (regardless of age) to blame?
