Police: Robbers Invade Linwood Avenue Home, Injure Man

Several robbers broke into a Parkville home after midnight Thursday

A homeowner was injured during a home invasion robbery in Parkville on Thursday.

After midnight on Nov. 15,  in the 3000 block of Linwood Avenue, a man was sleeping on a sofa in his living room when he heard someone breaking in through the basement door, according to Baltimore County Police Department spokeswoman Elise Armacost.

Several men then entered the living room and dragged the man from the sofa to the kitchen, where he was assaulted. The robbers then demanded money. The victim said he had no money to give, and the robbers dragged the man down the stairs and outside before running away, Armacost said.

The man, who received non-life-threatening injuries, including a cut to his arm, then crawled back inside and called to his wife, who had been sleeping upstairs, for help. The couple then called police, according to Armacost.

Officers responded but were unable to locate the robbers and no description of the suspects was available Thursday afternoon, Armacost said.

Baltimore County Police continue to investigate the incident. Stay with Patch for updates.

Crime is everywhere indeed, however there seems to be an abundant amount in the Parkville area recently. Is there a community assocation in this area?

Forget the community association. Go to Just Guns or Christian Soldier on Harford Rd and buy a gun. Keep the gun under your bed unloaded, and shotgun shells in a drawer nearby. Take a gun safety class, go to a firing range, put the gun where you know you can reach it in a pinch, and just Pray you never have to use it. You should also adopt a dog to alarm you of noise.

Tony I live 4 house from this nut case. He makes stuff up all the time. Complains of pt SD from Vietnam. Something is always wrong and sues everyone. I feel no pity for this guy and wish he would just move back to his other homes in Arizona and California. He is a neighbor from hell. However if this really happened, Im sure he could say the people were black, white, hispanic, etc... tall or short, male or female... you get the jest.

I agree with you. He fell under my jeep when I was visiting my aunt. Was laying there for almost an hour he said. If that was the case he should be missing his head cuz I was only there about twenty minutes. I feel no remorse either he's a scam. All that tax payer money down the drain so he can scam insurance.

All this crime is definitely hitting too close to home in the past few weeks. I really hope this isn't true...and that this guy gets some serious help.

This impressive little isssue was my view from my front door. Cops and neighbors were using my driveway. It is very interesting to hear my fellow neighbors pipe up. I have lived one house over from directly accross since June, and I swear I thought the place was empty. I have seen zero signs of life over there until last night. That car never moves an inch, the yard in July was like a jungle. Who knew there were actual humans in there?! If he is prone to hinkey weird crying wolf... wow. Just wow. That was one helluva wolf cry. I do find it suspicious that the K9 unit came up empty as well as the ghetto bird.

Live on same block and very close... little to close. they are in and out of town all the time and when they are home you never know until you just happen to see one. Have lived here over 15 yrs and I know he has cried wolf way to many times... Know very well because I was a victim of one of his games...
