Satyr Hill Man Arrested, Charged In Two Burglaries

Matthew Ryan Hensler, 23, of Carriage Walk Way faces multiple charges in connection with the two incidents.

 

A Satyr Hill man has been arrested and charged in two burglaries.

Matthew Ryan Hensler, 23, of the unit block of Carriage Walk Court, faces charges of first-degree burglary, attempted first-degree burglary, malicious destruction of property, attempted malicious destruction of property, possession of marijuana, and possession of a concealed dangerous weapon.

He was released from the Baltimore County Detention Center on $50,000 bond. 

Around 9:25 a.m. Feb. 19, police responded to the 9000 block of Waltham Woods Road for reports of a suspicious person. A witness told officers that a man had been knocking on the door of a home; officers saw that a rear patio door on the home had a bent frame, according to a police report.

While investigating that location, officers were called to the nearby unit block of Class Court, where they found a door kicked in and a person waling around the lower level of a home, the report states.

Officers then arrested Hensler and transported him to Parkville precinct where he admitted to trying to break into both homes in search of narcotics, according to a police report.

While in custody Hensler managed to remove a handcuff and tried to get back his wallet which contained pills, the report states.

Too bad he got out on bail. Must have family bailing him out of trouble. He will undoubtedly continue to attempt to rob people that live in the vicinity. Neighbors, pay close attention to his photo and do not hesitate to call police when you see him wandering the neighborhood looking for victims.
