Parkville High's Steel Drum Band tackles Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" at the Panorama concert.

When you see a steel pan drum, you're probably more likely to think of the music of Bob Marley rather than, say, Eric Clapton, Katy Perry, Journey or the Black Eyed Peas.

But all five and more were on the playlist at Baltimore County's 10th annual Panorama concert on Wednesday at Parkville High School, highlighting the county schools' steel drum bands.

Bands from Catonsville High, General John Stricker Middle, Sparrows Point High, Stoneleigh Elementary, Parkville High, Hereford Middle and Perry Hall High each performed a few songs. The night ended with a group performance by all the bands. Here are some photos and video.

What a great night of entertainment! Kids, a seeing eye dog, young families, and elderly neighbors! It seemed like everyone had a great time. Judging by the variety in the conga line at the end of the night, most of the people there felt the same way!
