Teen Charged In Pellet Gun Assault
Jilani Shaquille Alexander faces first-degree assault charges in connection with the incident.
A Parkville area teen has been arrested and charged after police said he pointed a pellet gun at an older man's head.
Jilani Shaquille Alexander, 18, of the 8100 block of Ridgetown Drive, faces first- and second-degree assault charges and one count of reckless endangerment in connection with the incident that took place on Dec. 24.
Alexander allegedly pointed a Colt Defender .177-caliber pellet gun at the head of his friend's father who then called police, according to a police report.
Police said he then tried to get rid of the gun by tossing it over a fence, but officers recovered the weapon.
A search of electronic court records shows that Alexander has been released from the Baltimore County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond.

Massive Fail!
Guns aren't banned in Australia. They tightened up their gun control laws back in the late '90's. Next time let Snopes be your friend......

In Baltimore Reckless endangerment carries a 5 yr sentence, 2nd degree assault a 10 year sentence and 1st degree assault is a 25 year sentence. So after waiting for 5 months for this to go to trail, he will probably get 5 years with all suspended but 6 months and be out in 2.

It will probably be a matter of time, when he uses a REAL gun in the commission of crime.
