It wasn't a landslide by any means, but the results are in; you told us that Toscana has the best sandwich in Parkville-Overlea.

The contest was close: Toscana got 17 votes but was closely trailed by Charcoal Grill, which ended up with 16 votes, throughout the entire week. Close behind was Jerry D's Restaurant and Tavern with 9 votes.

Toscana, which is located at 9946 Harford Road in Carney, is well known for Italian style sub sandwiches (see menu attached to this article) and according to their website they're the "best in Baltimore County, or they're free."

What sets Toscana apart? According to their website, they bake their bread fresh every day, use top-of-the-line meats, make their mozarella in the store, have fresh produce delivered every day, and make everything to order.

Congratulations to Toscana for being named the Parkville-Overlea Patch Readers' Choice Best Sandwich and congratulations to Charcoal Grill and Jerry D's for their runner up status.
