Tuesday Morning Bank Robbery Not Related To Afternoon Shooting
The M&T Bank branch on Harford Road in Parkville was robbed Tuesday morning.
A Tuesday morning bank robbery in Parkville is apparently not related to a shooting that occured later that same afternoon.
A white man walked into the M&T Bank branch in the 8200 block of Harford Road around 9 a.m. Nov. 13. The man passed a note to a teller, took cash and fled the bank, according to Cpl. Cathleen Batton, a police department spokeswoman.
The robber never displayed a weapon, Batton said.
The robbery at the bank is unrelated to a possible attempted robbery where a man was shot in the nearby 8300 block of Harford Road around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Batton said.
Police continue to investigate the robbery, but no further details were immediately available.

I have stopped using this branch due to past robberies both inside and at the ATM. Parkville was such a nice safe area but things are changing fast. I hope the Parkville Business owners, the Parkville precinct of the Baltimore County Police and the Parkville Community Assoc. come up with some suggestions to try to STOP crime in this business district. Customers have to feel safe to come and shop at their business.

alot has been robbed up and down harford road latley,,, it is close to busses and can get back in the city limits real fast,, it is a shame,, parville has become a high crime area,, very sad
