Vintage Parkville-Overlea: King's Ridge Homes
Guess where in the greater Parkville-Overlea area this photo was taken.
Welcome back to a new edition of Vintage Parkville-Overlea, a weekly feature here on Patch where we share photos of our neighborhood from decades past.
This week we're looking at a Parkville intersection as it stood in the late 1950's. The photo was posted to the "You Know You're From Parkville, Md When..." group on Facebook by user Ray Berkemeier.
Do you know where this photo was taken?
Share your guess and your memories of this Parkville neighborhood in the comments.

My grandmother moved to "Cub Hill" when Harford Road was a dirt road. The paving stopped back then where the city met the county, probably around Taylor Avenue. We lived off the 10000 block of Harford Road on her original property. I still live in the area and still call it "Cub Hill". Our post office says we are "Parkville" but I will always be a Cub Hill girl!

This appears to be the intersection of Old Harford and Kings Ridge road.

We've got a winner. The intersection doesn't look much like that today what, other than the huge "King's Ridge" sign gave it away for you?
