Visions for Vacancies: 7906 Harford Road
What would you like to see done with this vacant commercial space?
Located just across Park Terrace from our first Visions for Vacancies location, the former location of a Sunny's Surplus store looms empty at 7906 Harford Road.
Most recently the space was occupied by Northern Pharmacy & Medical Equipment and used as a storage space for supplies while a nearby storefront next to State Drugs is being renovated into a Northern Pharmacy location like the one next to Overlea Personal Physicians in Fullerton.
The property at 7906 Harford Road includes approximately 3,335 square feet of enclosed space and was valued at a total of $319,000 in July 2012, according to the Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation.
The property is currently being offered for lease.
Considering the property's former use as a retail storefront, what sort of business to you think would be ideal for this location?

I miss Sunny's. We could always beg for another liquor or gun store... Certainly there are not enough of those around.

I'm not a huge fan of the big corporate presence on our Main Street-type locales, but there's been an awful lot of turnover in that area. Maybe it's time for something that has the capital to stick around for awhile, e.g. Starbucks or Rita's.

Not enough parking for a Rita's.
