Visions for Vacancies: Fisherman's Wharf
What would you like to see move into this vacant commercial space in Fullerton?
The Fisherman's Wharf at the corner of Putty Hill Avenue and Belair Road has to have been closed up for at least two years.
When Parkville-Overlea Patch launched we heard some rumors about renovations going on at the restaurant, but recently a sign went up on the corner.

The 2,700-square-foot building, listed by Prudential PenFed Realty, is located at 7928 Belair Road. The space, which the realtor touts as the location of an "established seafood business for 22 years," is available for lease or for sale.
One real estate listing states that the rent for the space is $1,800 per month and that the building is in a "high density, high traffic" area.
As always, the question now is—what would you like to see move into this space? Tell us in the comments.

Not enough parking for most businesses.

Tim, there might be enough parking for some kind of restaurant — I personally would like to see something like an Einstein Bros. bagels there, if it's a locally owned biz, even bettter; also, niche businesses.
What do you think is really missing from the area?

I agree there isn't enough parking in that location -- the lot is limited and badly angled. Another entrance or exit might help matters but as it stands, there's barely space for a dumpster. We were excited that a Greek place was going in, but after some renovation that seemed to fall through.
I don't know that Einstein Bros. would do well right next to a Dunkin Donuts -- and that DD spot has parking issues, too!

the guy who most recently bought the property is a student at TU. said last year the place was going to be an authentic greek restaurant, with a major emphasis on authentic (he is of greek ancestry and speaks greek). he said the place would be up and running in 6 months. last i talked to him he was talking about yes the parking lot and expanding it. guy was pretty smart too, made the class very entertaining

A frozen yogurt place would be perfect for that location.
