Visions for Vacancies: Former H&R Block

What would be the ideal business to fill this commercial vacancy?

The site of a former H&R Block tax firm in Belair Beltway Plaza Shopping Center is in need of a tenant.

The former occupant moved to a larger space a few doors down in the same shopping center a while ago.

The building, located at 7684 Belair Road offers potential occupants 2,451 square feet of retail space which cannot be divided. The shopping center is managed by David S. Brown Enterprises.

Belair Beltway Plaza is anchored by a number of mainstays including Beltway Movies 6, Northern Pharmacy, and Overlea Personal Physicians, as well as a couple of Patch "Behind the Counter" featured businesses in Cookies by Design and Waterman's Pride.

In addition, the center recently added Cake & Wedding Cottage, formerly located in Perry Hall to its roster.

What do you think is missing from this shopping center? What type of business would bring you to the area more often? Tell us in the comments.

A local coffee/pastry shop would be nice. :)

Space is too small for a Trader Joes, I like the coffee shop idea!

I agree with Cory, a local coffee/pastry shop would be nice. Maybe some place that offers Zeke's coffe and Yia Yia and Hamilton Bakery treats, perhaps a few soup, sandwich, and salads for lunch.
