WJZ: Parkville Family Celebrates Milestone for Old Honda Civic
Maria Rose and Danny Elswick, of Parkville, have accomplished something rare: recently they put the 500,000th mile on their 21-year-old Honda Civic.
Local CBS affiliate station WJZ recently reported that a couple from Parkville put the 500,000th mile on their 1990 Honda Civic.
Maria Rose and Danny Elswick, traveling entertainers, bought the car in 1992 when it had just 48,000 miles on it, according to WJZ.
They've driven it to New Orleans and back more than 40 times, and have no plans to put the car away any time soon—they're ready for the next 100,000 miles.
