Baltimore County Public Schools has published an online checklist to prepare students and families for the 2012-2013 school year.
The list—which is on the school system's website—directs readers to information about enrolling children into new schools, immunizations and school supplies.
In a news release, school officials urge parents to enroll new students as soon as possible, and to verify residency for incoming sixth and ninth grade students.
The school system has also posted a schedule of back to school activities.
Students return for the new school year on Monday, Aug. 27.
