Time to Speak Up for an Elected Board of Education
There are times when we need to disagree publicly with the Baltimore County Board of Education's public positions. Now is one of those times.
The trust given by citizens to the Baltimore County Board of Education has been betrayed. We must have a Baltmore County Board of Education that will remain independent and make decisions in a non-partisan way.
It is time to get the focus back on the children and their education by giving citizens the right to choose who will best represent them as members of the Baltimore County Board of Education.
The good citizens of Baltimore County are busy and tired, but if you can just take time to send an email to your State Senator and Delegates it will make a difference. Tell the State representatives that you favor an school board elected by the citizens of Baltimore County.

Our State Senator is Kathy Klausmeier and she is firmly committed to an appointed school board, but she is a good person and you may be able to help change her mind.
