Each year the Carney Improvement Association and the Parkville American Legion's Sons of the American Legion join forces to honor the all veterans, but especially our Carney veterans who have served the United States of America to protect the freedoms we all enjoy.
Can you take 1/2 hour away from the Raven's game to honor our veterans and perhaps teach your family a great lesson about why we are able to live in freedom?

More About Carney Elementary School
The paw prints of the school mascot, the Carney Cougar, lead up to the doors of Carney Elementary School. The school was founded in 1965, and is situated in a closely-knit community with a strong PTA presence. Carney Elementary School also functions as a Baltimore County Parks & Rec site. The school principal is Eileen Roberta.

Thanks Meg for a wonderful Veteran's Day ceremony. We always enjoy attending and are happy to see the crowd grow larger each year. Thanks also to Councilman David Marks and Sen. Kathy Klausmeier for attending and sharing their kind words. It's always good to have the support from the people who represent you.
