Loch Raven Academy serves middle school students in Parkville and the eastern side of Towson. The school has magnet programs in arts exploration, law and finance and conservation sciences, which students from all over the county can apply to join.
The school offers unique extra-curricular opportunities. Students can join the crew that produces the school's televised morning announcements and films other on-campus events.
