 ve The Brothers Yares.  Based in one of the Middle East's oldest cities\
 , Jaffa\, Israel\, Ami is a transplanted American\, negotiating identity
  and music in a much different world than that of his upbringing. Being 
 away from home intensifies the things that you miss and want/need\, beco
 ming much more apparent in the daylight and haunting in the evening\, bu
 t for Ami\, it's become music and words.  Using Americana (folk\, bluegr
 ass\, country\, and much more) as his muse\, Ami's lyrics and music are 
 the negotiation of past\, present\, and future. You can hear it in the d
 epths of his music\; something familiar\, close\, even warm. Yet\, this 
 is no tribute to the past. It's an exclamation of the present\, somethin
 g new and always reborn in performance.   In this swiftly moving world\,
