Watercolor
Instructor: Elise Burns
We’re taking a different approach with watercolor this semester. Watercolor will now be a “split” class where both students interested in intense instruction and demonstration as well as those interested in a more independently dictated approach with assistance available when they need it, will find a welcome home in the class. We welcome Ms. Elise Burns as a new instructor for the class here at Parkville. Formerly on the art faculty of Virginia Commonwealth University, Elise Burns now works and resides in Baltimore, Maryland. Elise has been an active exhibitor in New York and various other museums and galleries on the East coast, is past president of the Virginia Women's Caucus for Art and on the Arts Council in Richmond, Virginia. Ms. Burns received her MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art. She has shown her work in New York at The Horn Gallery and The Joanna Dean Gallery, and in a solo show in Washington, DC at Gallery 10.
