Oak Crest Good Guys Capture Softball Title

PARKVILLE, MD—With a potent offensive attack and strong pitching, the Oak Crest Good Guys, the resident softball team at the Parkville-based retirement community, earned a pair of victories to capture the Annual Erickson Living Softball Tournament.

The event, held in Catonsville at Charlestown retirement community on June 5th, matched residents from Oak Crest, Charlestown, Riderwood (Silver Spring) and Greenspring (northern Virginia) in a two-round format.

The Good Guys defeated Greenspring 12-0 in the opening game.

In the championship versus Riderwood, Oak Crest jumped to an early lead and played stellar defense to win 17-1.
