About 200 homes and one area school are without water Wednesday afternoon after a valve on a water main broke in the Fullerton area.

The valve broke around 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of Linden and Fullerton Avenues, according to Baltimore City Public Works spokesman Kurt Kocher. The broke valve forced officials to turn off a 12-inch water main in the area leaving homes and Fullerton Elementary School without water.
