Harford Road Goes To The Dogs

Parkville's Main Street committee has organized a canine-centric Saturday, including contests for the cutest and ugliest puppies.

Think you've got the cutest dog in Parkville-Overlea? What about a puppy with a face only you could love?

Why not prove it to your peers — the Saturday morning Harford Road Pup Crawl will feature a contest to determine the neighborhoods cutest and ugliest canines.

The event, organized by , is open to everyone; the only thing they ask is that you bring your "well-behaved dog on a short leash, clean up bags and a smile." The event starts at 9 a.m. at the Lavender Avenue parking lot — contests for cutest and ugliest dogs, best dog trick and best costume begin at 9:30 a.m.

Then the group will take their four-footed friends for a walk up to Putty Hill Avenue and back along Harford Road.

As a special treat for man's best friend, the group invited Tiki's Ice Cream Truck for Dogs to come by.
