New Speed Bumps in Villa Cresta

The county approved and installed speed bumps in the Villa Cresta neighborhood this week.

Speeders beware — new traffic calming measures wereinstalled along Highpoint Road in the Villa Cresta earlier this week.

Fifth District Councilman David Marks told Patch that the two speed bumps are located north of Taylor Avenue and near the sharp bend in Highpoint Road.

"I am very happy the county approved this traffic calming measure, which should reduce speeds near ," Marks said in an email statement.

"I want to thank those residents who supported the speed bumps, since these require local approval," he said.
