Parkville Police Community Relations Council Launches New Website

The community group meets 4th Thursdays September through July.

Parkville precinct's Police Community Relations Council unveilled a new website Tuesday afternoon.

In an email, Parkville's Community Outreach Officer Jason Goorevitz announced that the new site was live at www.pcrc8.com.

"Each month we will be able to inform everyone about our meetings, who our speaker will be or special events. In the past we have visited the new 911 Call Center in Towson. Our next trip will be to the Crime Lab," wrote PCRC treasurer Pat Crum in an email.

The site hosts the membership form for the group as well as information about group events, meeting minutes and a blog.

The group, which bridges the gap between the community and the police who work there, meets at 7 p.m. on the 4th Tuesday of every month between September and June at in Carney.

"Captain Gordon Skinner, Commander of Precinct 8, always joins us for his monthly report on what’s happening in Precinct 8. He always has time for you to voice your concerns with problems that could be occurring in your neighborhood," Crum wrote.
