Pet Parrot Missing From Nottingham Area

The bird went missing Thursday night.

A parrot named Lou is missing from his Nottingham home.

Mary McCarrell, owner of Got Tan on Harford Road, posted in the Facebook group Parkville Main Street last night that the bird, which belongs to one of her employees, got loose.

The gray-colored parrot was last seen in a stand of pine trees near the Fox Hall Apartments leasing office on Walther Boulevard in Nottingham, McCarrell said on Facebook.

"Lou is a treasured part of the family and they are devastated," McCarrell wrote.

She asks that anyone with information about the missing parrot call Got Tan tanning studio at 410-665-1045.

A picture of Lou is attached to this article, and a reward is being offered for the parrot's safe return.

LOST PARROT: If you live in the Perry Hall/Parkville area, near Fox Hall apartments, please keep an eye out. Laura is one of our associates here at Got Tan and her parrot got loose :( Lou is a treasured part of the family and they are devastated. He was last seen in the pine trees by the leasing office on Walthur Blvd. They are offering a reward. If you see him, his name is Lou. Please call the studio if you see him and we will put you in touch with Laura and Jim right away. He likes treats and says bye-bye. 410-665-1045 or respond on here, my phone will alert me to a new message.
