Post Your Children's Present-Opening Reactions

Did you ever throw a tantrum Christmas morning when you found Santa had left you—gasp—clothes, when all you really wanted was that ridiculously expensive new toy (a fate worse than coal)? Or were you on Santa’s nice list, streaming tears of joy after you opened that new Nintendo? (Sorry if we’re dating some of you.)

Did you make it through the eight days of Hanukkah without so much as a device requiring batteries? Or were you grateful for your dreidel, spinning it proudly for hours?

Whatever reaction you remember, Patch wants you to pay it forward—to your own children.

Some of you may have seen the hilarious prank late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel tasked of his audience. (See video. Beware the vulgarity at 4:45.)

For the uninitiated, Kimmel told parents to give their children awful gifts for Christmas and to film their reactions. Watch the video through to the end to see a child who etches himself a permanent place on Santa’s naughty list.

As the old saying goes, it’s better to give than to receive. So make us proud and give a us a 30 second to 1 minute long clip of your little ones opening gifts this holiday season.
