Pup Crawl, Concert, Art Store Bring Crowds to Harford Road

Crowds came to Harford Road last weekend for a trifecta of events hosted by the Parkville Carney Business Association and the Parkville Main Street Committee.

Friday marked the first in a series of concerts that the business association hopes will draw people to Harford Road. From 5-8 p.m. The Wretched Outcasts performed on the Lavender Avenue parking lot near the intersection of Harford Road and Taylor Avenue.

Meanwhile, across Harford Road at the pop-up art store inside the old Atlantic Seafood Deli, organized by the Parkville Main Street Committee, attendees had a chance to check out locally made paintings, prints, jewelry and candles.

Both events continue from 5-8 p.m. this Friday, May 17, when The Rat Pack is scheduled to perform 70s and 80s pop music while the art store operates at 7810 Harford Road.

On Saturday people took advantage of nice weather to bring out their four-legged friends for Parkville's second annual Pup Crawl.

The event was dreamed up by Parkville's Main Street Committee with the intent of getting neighbors and neighboring pups to meet one another and check out businesses along the Harford Road main street.
