Parkville Resident Stars in CCBC's Shakespearean Extravaganza

Parkville resident William B. Meister is one of three actors who will attempt the "impossible" — to perform all 37 William Shakespeare plays in 97 minutes.

A Parkville actor stars in a soon-to-open Community College of Baltimore County theater production of the "impossible."

William B. Meister is one of three performers who will attempt the "impossible" fete when the Academic Theatre at CCBC presents Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged).

He and fellow actors Thomas P. Gardner of Joppa and Azariah Coppin of White Marsh will attempt to perform all 37 of Shakespeare's plays in 97 minutes.

"Along the way, they skewer the bard with loving irreverence, wildly editing down the greatest works of William Shakespeare with gleeful abandon," according to a statement from the college. "Join them as they weave their way through all of Shakespeare’s comedies and tragedies in a fast-paced, witty rendition that’s full of laughter."

Performance times are at 10 a.m. Nov. 22 (tickets still available) and Nov. 25 (sold out); 8 p.m. Nov. 23 and 24; and 1 p.m. Nov. 26 in the Community Center Theatre at CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Blvd.

Tickets cost $8 for general admission and $5 for senior citizens, students and CCBC faculty staff and alums.

For ticket information call the box office, 443-840-2787.
