White Marsh-Rosedale Schools to Hold Back-to-School Events

Rosedale-White Marsh schools have scheduled Back-to-School nights and related activities to prepare students and parents for the new school year that starts Aug. 26.

The gatherings will provide parents with opportunities to meet school faculty and staff; learn about academic expectations and classroom curricula; and receive information on school rules and upcoming events, according to a statement from Baltimore County Public Schools.

Listed below is the Back-to-School Night schedule for Rosedale-White Marsh schools:

Elementary Schools:

Chapel Hill Elementary School: Kindergarten Back-to-School Night, Wednesday, Aug. 21, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.; Grades 1-5 Back-to-School Night, Thursday, Aug. 22, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

McCormick Elementary School: Grades K-5 Take a Peek at Your Seat, Friday, Aug. 23, from 1 to 3 p.m.; Grades Pre-S-K Back-to-School Night, Tuesday, Sept. 17, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.; Grades 1-5 Back-to-School Night, Tuesday, Sept. 17, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Red House Run Elementary School: Grades K-2 Back-to-School Night, Tuesday, Aug. 27, 5:30 to 6:15 p.m.; Grades 3-5 Back-to-School Night, Tuesday, Aug. 27, from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.

Shady Spring Elementary School: Back-to-School Night, Thursday, Aug. 22, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Middle School:

Golden Ring Middle School: Back-to-School Night, Wednesday, Sept. 4, from 6 to 8 p.m.

High School:

Overlea High School: Grade 9 Open House, Thursday, Aug. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m.; Back-to-School Night, Thursday, Sept. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m.
