A Romantic Getaway to White Marsh?

A Valentine's Day contest sponsored by the Avenue at White Marsh's management company offers a chance to take that special someone out for free.

What are your plans for this Valentine's Day?

Thanks to a contest sponsored by Federal Realty, your plans could involve dinner for two at Kobe Japanese Steakhouse, a movie at AMC Loews White Marsh theater and overnight accommodations at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott—all for the best price of all: free.

Federal Realty, which manages the Avenue at White Marsh, is operating the I Love the Avenue contest through midnight on Feb. 13. All you have to do is send in a photo of yourself at any location on the Avenue.

Photos can be submitted by email to promotions@federalrealty.com, along with your name and phone number. A winner will be chosen at random and notified by phone on Valentine's Day.

You must be 21 or older to enter the contest, and if you happen to be an Avenue employee, you're exempt from entering.

This article has been edited to reflect the correct name of Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott. Patch regrets the error.

LOL, does it include a police escort? Because I mean, it is night time and the buses still run, right?

I love The Avenue and have always felt safe there. I'm entering, Nick. :)

Racist...

LOL, because there's NO African Americans who live in this area, and don't require busing.
There's a definite bias going on with me, but it's got nothing to do with race.

Apparently my last comment was flagged. I'll clean it up: Surprise, Surprise, the offer is onlyRead More good for NEW customers. Yet I've been a "loyal" Comcast customer for over 15 years now, never late on a payment nor complained when my service failed or I've had an issue that wasn't resolved without me taking "above and beyond" steps. Comcast is a juggernaut that just doesn't care if once it gets your business. You get locked in and then are stuck until your "contract" expires. Mine expires 2/22/2014 or I could cancel and pay $200. I'm going to hold out and then cut cable all together and just have Internet service so my Rokus work. But Verizon FIOS is looking better by the day.
