ExpressCare, Petco Fill Parkville Vacancies

The new businesses will fill vacancies at the renovated Parkville Shopping Center.

Two new businesses will join the merchants of Parkville Shopping Center.

Petco, a national pet supply store, will move into the space formerly occupied by Linen World between Sweetpeach Frozen Yogurt and the Dollar General store.

That should excite at least one Patch commenter, Chelle Martz, who wrote on a Visions for Vacancies column in May 2012.

"I think a pet shop would be fantastic. Something small yet convenient. If I had the funds, I'd open one myself. Having been working in the veterinary field for nearly 20 years, it's been my dream! I'd totally support a shop like that," Mertz wrote.

Additionally ExpressCare, an urgent care clinic, will open in the space formerly occupied by restaurant Buffalo Wings and Beer.

Recently a Little Caesar's franchise opened in the shopping center in the space formerly occupied by a Postman Plus store.

After the new tenants move in only one storefront in the shopping center, adjacent to Merchant's Tire, will remain vacant.

Tell us: Are you excited for either of these new businesses to move into town?
