Hungry? Coalfire Opens In Hunt Valley Town Center

If you're looking for pizza in Hunt Valley-Cockeysville, you have a new option.

Coalfire, owned by Sparks resident Dennis Sharoky, opened its Hunt Valley Town Center location on July 11.

The pizza pictured here is a "Ring of Fire" - one of Coalfire's specialty pizzas that uses a spicy tomato sauce, fresh house-made mozzarella cheese and is topped with banana peppers and Italian sausage.

The menu includes a few other specialty pies, like the classic Margherita pizza, and offers the option to create your own pizza.

Start with one of three sauces: classic (sweet), signature (sweet and spicy) or spicy (self-explanatory) and add toppings like pepperoni, mushrooms, kalamata olives and prosciutto ham.

Though they all sound great, he menu suggests choosing just two "to ensure the perfect bake."

A thin, charred crust is key to the recipe at Coalfire where they use a 900-degree coal-fired oven to cook pizzas in just a few minutes.

Not in the mood for pizza? Try a pasta dish or wings cooked in the same coal-fired oven and seasoned with herbs and spices and served "smothered with roasted onions."
