Parkville Restaurants Participate in Restaurant Week

The winter restaurant week kicks off Wednesday with an event in Timonium

The winter Baltimore County Restaurant Week is almost upon us, and a couple of Parkville-area restaurants are going to offer special menus at special prices.

, on Putty Hill Avenue, and , on Taylor Avnue, are the only two restaurants participating in the winter deal. Back in August 2011 when the county held a restaurant week promotion, .

Starting on Thursday Jan. 12 you'll be able to score awesome food on the cheap with with prix fixe lunch and dinner specials ranging from $10.12 to $35.12. You can check out the menu for Pappas and the menu for McAvoy's in the files attached to this article.

The twice-yearly restaurant week is sponsored by the county and the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce, and kicks off on Wednesday with a special event at Liberatore's Restaurant in Timonium hosted by County Executive Kevin Kamenetz.

Several other nearby restaurants in Towson and Perry Hall are also participating, and if you want to wander further afield you can check out the restaurant week website for participants countywide.
